We can furnish prints mounted and matted ready to add a frame. Bainbridge Archival Artcare foam board and their Alpharag Artcare 100% rag board is whole new system to archive your prints. Bainbridge foam board is chemically and physically engineered to prevent any harmful out gassing of the foam and protect the artwork mounted on it. Their Alpharag artcare board proactively traps and neutralizes pollutants and acid by-products that can damage your prints. We mount Perma-Stable prints, and prints printed on other Hahnemühle fine art papers, by hinge mounting them on the archival foam board and using polyester guides on the bottom, top and sides to keep the print flat. We double mat with 2 white mounts on top with a 1/4 inch spacing. Prints over 20x24 should be permanently mounted using cold mount tissue so they will lay flat. Fuji Crystal Archive prints are mounted on the archival foam core with using cold mount tissue to permanently mount the print flat on the board. We then double mat with 2 white mounts on top with a 1/4 inch spacing. Mounting on 3/16 Black Gator.We mount on 3/16 black Gator Board. We can flush mount so that the image is right to the edge or we can position the image in the center of a larger board. We need your instructions as to where you want the image placed. We can mount any of our photo or giclée materials using this method in any size up to 48"x60". If you have special needs please give us a call. Pricing for Gator Board is $1.10 per united inch. That is ADD the two dimensions of the size of the board we will be mounting on. For example a 20"x24" print flush mount (20"+24"=44 united inches multiplied by $1.10 = $48.40. A 20"x24" mounted on 24"x30" board (24"+30" = 54 united inches x $1.10 = $59.40).Mount and Laminate on 3/8" fiberboard or 1 1/4" fiberbox.We also offer an option for flush mounting onto 3/8" fiberboard with black (or color) beveled edges and a matte vinyl over-lamination. This is a great way to display your images requiring no further framing: ready-to-hang. The over-lamination will also provide 80% UV protection and can be cleaned with household cleaners. Pricing for 3/8 mount and lam. is $2.15 a united inch (16"+20" =32" times $2.15 =$68.80). Pricing for 1 1/4" Fiberbox with beveled edge and lamination is $3.15 united inch.
Plastic over lamination only.We can over-laminate all of our photo papers and a few giclée papers bonding a plastic sheet over the print to protect the image. This will allow the mounting of the image without glass and still give the print UV protection and a surface that can be carefully wiped with a damp cloth. Pricing for the lamination is $1.20 per united inch.Liquid coating of Giclée printsA special liquid coating can be coated on to a few of the better giclée art papers. This protects the giclée papers from scuffing, gives a very good UV protection (as good as UV glass), does not yellow and allows displaying with out glass. We are using a matte coating made by the Clear Star Corp called Clear Shield and is made just for coating giclée print. We can coat Photo Rag, German Etching, Wm Turner and our Matte canvas.
